Wine cellar
In the quiet village of Drače on the Pelješac peninsula, a ritual unfolds — a ritual of sea, wine, and story. Just an hour from Dubrovnik, this untouched corner of the Adriatic invites you to taste something ancient and pure: oysters harvested directly from the bay, opened before your eyes, and enjoyed within seconds of surfacing. Pelješac is more than a landscape — it’s a legacy. A place of salt, stone, and sun-soaked vineyards. It’s where the king of Croatian wines, Dingač, is born. And it’s where the sea itself becomes a wine cellar.
Navis Mysterium
In 2013, a vision took shape — to age wine beneath the Adriatic Sea. After months of research, bottles and amphorae were submerged to a depth of 18 to 25 meters, resting undisturbed for more than 700 days. The result was Navis Mysterium — “The Sea Mystery.” A wine shaped not just by time and terroir, but by the heartbeat of the ocean. Protected by glass, clay, and the rhythm of the tides, each bottle becomes a treasure — textured by salt, marked by history, and glowing with mystique.

Croatian story
Every element of Navis Mysterium is a Croatian story. Plavac Mali grapes from Janjina. Clay amphorae from Petrinja. Wrought iron wine stands from Sisak. Wooden boxes from Varaždin. Corks, glass, tradition — all from this land. When you hold a bottle, you hold more than wine. You hold legacy, craftsmanship, love. Each is unique. Each, a conversation piece. You don’t just drink it. You experience it.
Oyster Beds
The ritual continues by boat. You'll sail to the oyster beds, meet local harvesters, and open oysters right there on the water. Paired with chilled Navis Mysterium, it's a moment of silence, of tasting the Adriatic in its purest form. The oysters of Pelješac are among the best in the world — small, salty, mineral, and deeply expressive of the sea. Add a few drops of local lemon, a glass of wine, the sound of waves. Nothing else is needed. Simplicity becomes luxury.

Storytelling
Beneath the waves lies a sunken fishing boat, resting for over 30 years. It’s now home to the underwater wine library — guarded, secure, and surreal. Our guides will take you to the very spot where the amphorae rest. It’s not just wine aging — it’s storytelling through salt and silence. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for wine lovers, foodies, and romantics alike. Everything here is authentic, handcrafted, and unforgettable.
